Overhead/Underground Distribution, Transmission and Substation
OnPower provides a full range of overhead and underground distribution, transmission and substation services to investor owned utilities, electric cooperatives, independent power providers, municipalities, and private primary system owners. These services include new installation, system improvements and maintenance involving the following:
- Electric overhead high voltage distribution and secondary voltage pole lines
- Underground primary and secondary systems
- Direct bury (plow and trench)
- Directional boring
- Duct banks
- Manhole systems and vaults
- Overhead sub-transmission and transmission
- Energized services up to 500kV
- Live line & bare hand services
- Wood, concrete and steel monopole and H-structures
- Conductor and re-conductor
- Pole and pad mounted equipment including transformer, OCB, reclosure, regulator, capacitor and switching equipment
- Pad mount transformers and switchgear
- Substations
- Emergency storm restoration
All services are performed by a fully trained and qualified IBEW workforce.
